George Janson, Honest Insights President and Founder, is known as a dynamic influencer, thought leader and true original. The origins of his practice started when, as a young boy, George’s intellectual curiosity emerged through a passion for puzzles and absorbing media (Highlights and National Geographic For Kids). At the same time, his leadership skills blossomed and he developed into the supportive, empathetic boss, friend and colleague that he is today.

Credentials

George Janson completed coursework from the Columbia University Coaching Certification program, a partnership between The Columbia Business School and Teacher’s College and Columbia’s Graduate School of Education. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Rowan University (Glassboro, NJ).

In his more than 20-year career in the advertising and media industry, he has been frequently recognized by his peers. He was named to Mediaweek’s “All Star” list in 2005 and was recognized three times from MIN (Media Industry News) Magazine as a “Top Magazine Player” (2000), “Most Intriguing” (2005) and “Sweet Sixteen” (2013). He acted as Chairman of the 4A’s Next Generation Publishing Committee, was the Liaison with MPA Tablet Taskforce, and served on the Magazine Buyers Advisory Committee, Alliance for Audited Media (formerly ABC). In 2002, his program for his client Turning Leaf wine was awarded Mediaweek’s “Plan of the Year.”

Most recently, he was the honoree of Multiple Sclerosis Society of New York’s Brain Games in 2012.
